Recordings from decades ago sound as fresh and vibrant as ever; it's easy to forget just how much time has past since their original imprint. At a personal level, music can be the soundtrack of our lifetime with certain tunes invoking past experiences as vividly as if they happened yesterday. As I grow longer in tooth, there have been many performances that have stood my personal test of time.
